The pride of the Torres Strait Islands, the Dhari (traditional headdress) featured on the archipelago’s flag is displayed on the front chest. It is then also blown-up across the back accompanying the word “hagadz” repeated in the background.
Hagadz is probably not the correct spelling but represents a phrase from TSI creole, or broken English, when expressing something as being like really, really cool. Or blackfulla “deadly”.
